You will also include a brief (up to 500 words) description of your business. Why sign up with FindaLab? Let's consider LabSeeker, an engineer given the task of selecting an "outside" test lab. How will he proceed? Let's assume he's skilled at using the Internet. Into one of the search engines he can enter "my city" + "test lab." He will gain pages of links to laboratories near and far, including blood testing and construction material laboratories, mixed with links to many other kinds of business. A few hours later, he may find your lab. Perhaps LabSeeker knows about the category Commercial Environmental Test Labs at www.equipment-reliability.com. Here he finds an alphabetical listing of about 50 commercial environmental testing labs. Similarly, if he visits category HALT/HASS Labs, he finds an alphabetical listing of about 8 HALT/HASS labs, as well as 4 Packaging Test Labs under that category. Each is a "hot link" to the web site of a single lab or to the main Web site of a family of labs. One at a time, he can grope through each lab's Web pages. With considerable further effort, he eventually builds his own list of geographically-convenient candidate labs. Concerning each, he wonders "Can this organization do my test(s)?" Depending upon each candidate lab's Web page "searchability" and LabSeeker's skill, he will gain the needed information.
